Following my mum's funeral , the hundreds sms I received, cards , emails and the minute silence before the bkara 2 km swim, made me realise that sports is not all about competing , winning , pain , sweat , hard training and determination...........it made me also aware that sports involves a circle of people who are willing to show solidarity and give a helping hand when needed. Words cannot express how much I appreciated those encouraging words and gestures in these hard times.
